In November 1998 the British Parking Association presented Parksafe with its prestigious award acclaiming it as Overall Winners for 'Best Practice in Parking'.

In November 2001 Parksafe opened its second car park in a partnership with Lancaster City Council.

This won the British Parking Awards 2002 - Special Judges Award for Technological Innovation & The Parksafe Customer Guarantee.

In 2002 the Design Council initiative on cracking crime through design used Parksafe as a case study in emphasizing their objective.
