Why are there not more Parksafe Car Parks in the UK?

At present there is no pressure for Car Park Operators to be made responsible for the service they provide.

However, because of section 17 of the Crime and Disorder Act, the general public will sooner or later challenge the disclaimer notices, and seek compensation for damage or theft of their vehicle.

When this happens, Operators will have to change their attitude and become responsible for the service provided to paying customers in their car parks.
